Assignments:

Assignments from June minutes were reviewed.

Discussion regarding natural resources inventory with Ted.  Ted noted that we can’t do anything until GIS is up and running in town hall.  Dave noted that so much of our resources are privitly owned.

There was an issue raised with the clearing of the bank near Herb Chambers on the Ct River.  Dave will talk to Ann about enforcement.

Land use commission Forum to be held at town hall on 26 July at 4 pm.  The meeting will be run by atty Matern.  The process of acquiring open space will be reviewed.  George provided his defence.  He says we have been following the same procedure since it was established.  George asked that this group officially accept the 2004 OL Open Space Plan Update.  Motion by Dave, second by Mike.  Passed.

Discussion of PRCD with Howard and Steve.  They suggested we talk to the chairman Ted Kiritsis since they are alternates.  We will try to get it on their next agenda for Monday 11 July.

Mariette handed out maps of trails in town.  Everyone is to take them home and review.  Please provide comments/corrections.

Sessa plans for Town Woods road.  No comments, but a question about open space if it is a family subdivide.  There is no open space allotment.  George to find out why.

Ct Water Company permit application.  George noted that there is a high radon content in the water.  I suggested we request their draught management plan.  Motion by Dave, second by Mike to suggest WPCA notify Chadwich water company of the radon content.  Passed.

Motion to adjourn.
